FS - Fundraising Energy: Using Events to Engage Donors

Description

Fundraising Energy: Using Events to Engage Donors

Events are a wonderful way to celebrate the culmination of a large project. They are also important tools for building momentum around your work during its creation. In this presentation, Kimberly Goodis, former Senior Program Officer of Individual Giving at NYFA, will share key strategies for artists planning fundraising events this year. Join us and learn tips for planning in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, and discover how these tools can work in tandem with your project development to maximize its reach and impact.

In this presentation, you will learn how to leverage different event components, such as ticketing, program elements, auctions, and paddle raises to successfully:

  • Expand your audience;
  • Cultivate donors; and
  • Energize individual giving and crowdfunding campaigns.

This program is part of NYFA Fiscal Sponsorship, which increases funding opportunities for individual artists and emerging arts organizations in all disciplines by allowing them to raise funds using NYFA's tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3)-classified organization.
