Individual Giving - Building a Fundraising Calendar

Description

Attracting and managing contributions from individual donors is crucial for any artist raising support for their next project. One of the most important components of fundraising success is knowing the best time and schedule for sending your appeals. In this workshop, we will examine steps you can take to develop your individual fundraising efforts into a strategic and cohesive annual plan to help drive donations and boost donor loyalty.

Join us as we explore the best techniques and industry practices for:

  • Determining which fundraising methods work best for you, and how to implement them;
  • Organizing an effective fundraising plan, and building a flexible yearly calendar;
  • Understanding the donor life cycle;
  • Cultivating and approaching new donors; and
  • Retaining current donors and increasing their engagement.

Presented by Kimberly Goodis, Senior Development Officer, Individual Giving and Special Events at New York Foundation for the Arts.
